I'm a Chicago native and Brooklyn creative with a decade of experience making things for institutional, digital and public platforms. I believe problem solvers in all industries are creatives, and success in any such discipline requires an empathy-based approach.
As a designer and tech lead, I’ve enhanced global initiatives and achieved record-breaking metrics for legacy brands: Macy's, Time Inc. and Essence. As a freelance Creative Director, I’ve developed brand identities for startups spanning a Brooklyn co-working space to an Akron semi-pro basketball team, and created media for non-profit institutions and multinational corporations alike. As an artist I’ve released 8 albums, garnering: radio in 11 countries, 2 recording contracts, TV placements, performances at the SXSW & Essence festivals and a publishing deal with London’s Defected Records. As an educator, I’ve developed and led workshops teaching digital music production to artists of all ages at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, Detroit’s Allied Media Conference and the Microsoft flagship store.
I am passionate about efficiency, equity and empowerment and I look forward to contributing the full breadth of my experience and education where needed.
I provided UI/UX for 2018 ESSENCE Festival Website & App capturing data from a year-over-year record 40,000+ registrants and Website, yielding a 80% increase in impressions, the 1st sellout in its 24 year history and a New Orleans weekend tourism record of 500,000 visitors.
I placed producer, Saedi’s composition to serve as the show’s theme, produced the bumpers and transitions and engineered four episodes from Season 2.
I co-designed uniforms for the American Basketball Association's newest franchise.
My family was identified as influencers by Blink Fitness' social media manager and sponsored to develop fitness lifestyle content for Instagram.
We created the brand identity for Brooklyn co-working space, Electropositive.
